Starting point
Design ready.
A semi-automated thematic restaurant robot designed to move and serve food at the centre of a table.
Restaurants and hotels can face congestion at peak hours, limited waiter availability and delays caused by manual order processing.
This project explores a restaurant automation system using waiter robots. Each robot can have a thematic character while being built to entertain guests and serve food.
Different linear mechanisms and character concepts are being evaluated on a single prototype platform.
Prototype development, mentorship and validation support through the ACIC innovation ecosystem.
