A compact steam-based generator concept that can use plug-in heat or solar-powered heating in challenging conditions.
This generic generator is intended for use under different or extreme conditions. Steam is passed through a nozzle onto a rotor-vane arrangement, creating magnetic-flux variation that leads to power generation.
Steam can be generated using a plug-in heat source, an electric heater or a solar-powered heater mechanism.
Cylinder pressure is measured and controlled to maintain a steady steam flow, while rotor speed is regulated to produce the intended power density.
